NJ Dominators Basketball Club is a competitive, co-ed basketball program for players in 4th grade through high school across Monmouth County and nearby areas. This is not a recreational team. It is a structured, year-round environment created for players who want to improve their game, strengthen their mindset, and compete with purpose.
Led by longtime coach and U.S. Navy veteran Dominic Carlucci, the club was built out of a passion for coaching and youth development. It is a not-for-profit venture. Every dollar collected goes directly to gym rentals, uniforms, and necessary expenses. There are no markups, no inflated costs, and no special treatment.
Whether your child is preparing for middle school tryouts or working to elevate their skills, the Dominators offer a disciplined and motivating program that helps them grow on and off the court.
Coach Dominic Carlucci is a U.S. Navy veteran with more than 25 years of coaching experience, including time spent coaching youth and adult teams both locally and internationally. From Panama to Kansas City to Monmouth County, he has worked with players of all skill levels and backgrounds. The Dominators program began when his local township needed a reliable, qualified coach who could lead a serious team with fairness and structure. Today, that same commitment drives everything he does on and off the court. Coach Dom builds players up with honesty, high expectations, and a passion for helping them reach their full potential.
NJ Dominators Basketball Club is not a travel or recreational team. We offer a focused, competitive environment where effort and accountability matter. This is a program for kids who want to grow, work hard, and be part of something real. Players are treated equally, and parents know exactly where their money goes—directly to the cost of running the program. There is no profit margin here. What you get is a coach who genuinely cares, a team that demands commitment, and a training experience designed to prepare athletes for school teams and beyond.
NJ Dominators is open to boys and girls from rising 4th graders through high school seniors. Players are grouped based on age, skill level, and competitive fit across three team tiers: 4th–6th Grade, 6th–8th Grade, and 9th–12th Grade. While we currently run co-ed teams, every player earns their spot through hard work, not placement by default. Some players join to train only and do not participate in games, which is also welcome. Whether you're preparing for your first middle school tryout or looking to stay sharp during the offseason, there's a place for you to grow here.
